DS-160 Submittal

I, the petitioner, filled out all the DS-160's for my fiance and his kids. Do they really need to hit the submit button down there? Or can I do it here?

I'm also filling out his US Travel docs profile with my email address. I hope that's allowed!

Also, his information packet never arrived. I've read the only thing he really NEEDS out of that is the paper for the medical appointments. How does he go about getting that?

Your fiancé must personally sign it ( hit the submit button) from a computer within the Dominican Republic.

Technically the beneficiary is supposed to be the one to click the submit button. I don't know if they have any way of confirming who does it. My fiance clicked on submit herself, but we each worked on the DS-160.

There was no packet needed for the process. We completed the DS-160 and printed out the payment form from ustraveldocs, paid at Banco Popular, entered the payment receipt number in ustraveldocs, then scheduled VAC and embassy appointments. She did the VAC appointment one day (took about 20 min), and the medical the next day. She only needed her passport to do the medical. Allow a week between the medical and embassy interview because you have to pick up the medical packet to bring to the interview, it takes them 5 days to get the medical packet ready.

Also, she did not need to bring photos for any of the steps. She had them with her, but they took a photo at the VAC and another photo at the medical exam.
