I got that letter from NVC in my email a few weeks ago and am waiting every day to hear from them. Do you get the next document in the mail or email? Waiting, waiting, waiting. I haven't dared call them yet. Maybe I should?

Blanched, I got a letter from NVC myself last week via email. But I didn't realize that they had sent me and husband 3 or 4 pages with the email. So make sure there's not more than 1 page to the email.

Thank you Gryphon we did lol. But I have a question to ask......My husband changed addresses since we have done the petition in Dec. We submitted a change of address right before we was approved. Ok so my question is this........on the I-864 should we put the new address or leave the old one on the paperwork???

I'm sorry, Ms. F. Brown, I just saw this! Hopefully you got an answer, but if not - is he the petitioner or the beneficiary? If he's the petitioner, then it matters (and I'd imagine it would need to match other documentation sent in). If he's the beneficiary, they don't care where you live as long as you'd be going to the same consulate.

I called NVC yesterday. Was on hold for 22 minutes then got to speak to a woman. She told me they got our case 30 days ago but we should allow them another 2 weeks to review it. Ugh. So she says if we don't hear from them in 2 weeks to call again.

Hi RestRion, I'm sorry they haven't approved your daughter, so frustrating! :ranting:

Here is the portal, Select the options that apply to you and then you can send them a message.

I've never tried them.

https://www.dhs.gov/case-assistance

PS. By the way it says you need to use internet explorer for that site.

I got an email the other day saying NVC didn't get my husband's military records in our package. I know they were in there as I checked the package 100 times before mailing it. AND was waiting on that particular piece of paper before mailing it. I called them right away and was told they will take 42 days to review my file. I can go ahead and mail them the paper once again with their special barcode cover sheet but she didn't guarantee that it would help speed things up . What a pain, eh? :( 42 days just to double check that THEY didn't see a document that I sent in. So stinky.
