completed my medical today at Blackrock Clinic.

The fee here is 395 ($440), would love to know what the fee is in other countries.

Everything here is always crazy expensive :|

Wow, that is expensive. Mine costs Php 11,300 ($250) at St. Lukes Clinic.

It's the only clinic here in our country that is affiliated with the US Embassy, so no other option too.

Oh no don't get lost in the middle of time square, thats no fun? :) I snuck in the NVC forum once and I never went back, maybe later.

Did you get your case number and stuff? Have you found that NVC_Process link which takes you thru almost everything you need to know?

Looky I just called NVC and received our case number and IIN number. So I have a question to ask. Do we need to assign a agent first before I start the application process and pay the fee's??

You need to complete the DS-261 (and have it reviewed at NVC) before the IV bill is invoiced. Lin just told me you can pay the AOS fee usually as soon as you receive the welcome letter - and once you have the letter, they will also review the DS-261 when you call them.

Hi Ms. F. Brown, congratulations! Yes, you can log into the ceac.state.gov using your numbers. The DS 261 is the first link to click. You won't even be able to pay the fees until you do that.

oh #######, I wasn't anticipating such a big fee for the medical! I'm expecting us to get some notice (email or snail mail) anyday now. We got a notice from NVC that they got our package on May 7th and to please allow 30 days for them to get to it. Anyday now. how did you all hear about the next step for the medical exam? An email? Thanks, Blanche

Congradulations Blanche! I don't think you will get an email for the medical. Check tthe Embassy Info tab and the info for the medical would list the embassy doctor or doctors. Call one and setup your appointment. Its different for different embassies but in general you want to get the appointment at least a week before your embassy interview so that the results from the medical are ready.

P.S.. I wouldn't make it to far before the Embassy interview cause the Medical is only valid for 6 months and also has to be valid for when you enter the US.

Yes Looky I remember when it seemed like it was going to take forever to get to this point of the process. But I'm glad we're almost done with it. :dancing:

Yes Ms F. Brown for sure this stage feels way better! :) The waiting periods are more manageble cause its broken into smaller steps and you have some idea of whats going on.

I mean during the USCIS stage all we could do is wait and wait and wait not knowing what was really going on!

Yes that is so true LookyWhatIFound lol. But Ive prepared myself for stage since the beginning of the year. So that when we got to this part it wouldn't be so hard or stressful. But I truly thank you for your guidance in this forum.
