Ok well here's the scoop for London.

IR-1 / CR-1s, non DCF, interviews are only scheduled by NVC. You can only get the appointment changed if you call the Embassy, but they will not guarantee that you get it on that date, but will offer you something else.

London K-1s and DCF's go through NVC for a short instant in time, but don't really, and the appointment would normally be scheduled by the embassy, but now they are allowing people to schedule them.

Oh well, be prepared for that 8:00 on a Monday! :D

I'd better buy an alarm clock then!

Thank for guys - it's confusing that they have two different systems for appointments and why in 2016 we can't all just do our own appointment choosing online.

quite a number of November filers have not been approved.

I respectfully disagree. I'm only interested in Nebraska but using the data from this website, 8 of the 39 November I-130 for spouse filers have not reported an approval. That's around 20%. So 80% have definitely been approved and we know this because they have reported an approval. The key is...reporting. The 20% that haven't reported back with their approval may well have been approved but just lost interest in using this website or completely forgot. Understandable if they are now busy trying to get through NVC as quickly as possible. Some may have decided that this visa is not right for them (marriage breakdown, change in circumstance, deciding to settle in the beneficiary's country instead) so they may have withdrawn their applications but not reported it to us. And they don't have to. Some may have been to visit during the I-130 and ended up staying and going through AOS. That happens a lot too.

I know the members on this forum are just the tip of the iceberg of the Nebraska workload but we are enough of a cross-section from various countries, various age groups, various lengths of marriage, filing within the USA and filing overseas, same sex couples, mixed sex couples, we have it all here. So I do believe that our stats paint a reasonably accurate picture.

80% of November approved already is about right. Possibly more.

I'm optimistic.

I hope I am wrong JFH and I do not look into VJ stats, just do a quick look on case tracker, this app looks into all the case numbers on USCIS database. It does not work on cases people report/do not report on VJ.

If you look on case tracker, you can see status of all the form applications I-130, I-131....just do a quick search you can see there are quite numbers of Nov filers are still waiting and I am quite sure not all of them are VJ members, they even do not have nick names/timelines in VJ. All they have is only a case number.

I really hope I am wrong so many other Dec filers/Jan filers can expect approval soon.

I feel optimistic and I am joining JFH. How do you search by date on the case tracker app? I am a bit confused with this app. Could you please explain how to search? Many thanks

I agree with you. There are about 20% that don't report their approval date each month. Look at the data for May 2015, it looks like November... One would think that they have approved more than 50% for May 15. At least I hope so...
