Each case is different from others. Yes, there are January filers approved (non-Filipino) but there are still quite a number of November filers have not been approved.

It is all about how complex a case is and how fast the person works on that case does his/her job. The only thing we can do in this game is being patience and pray the person works on your case can make it faster.

Oh no I thought that most of the November filers got approved. I didn't know that there were still many of them waiting :(

Basically, November filers are still well within 5-6 month timeline to process a case. I followed the November filers thread and looked into the timeline stats, just few days ago there were cases filing in Nov just got approved.

Yes, thanks for that Looky although there seems to be confusion whether it's just for K-1 or for CR-1 also. I hope it is for CR-1 because I am NOT a morning person and those 12 noon appointments that you can choose online sound perfect to me. NVC will probably schedule me an 8 am appointment, knowing my luck.

Hi JFH, I've been going through the London embassy links. Now I'm confused! :) There's one for Applications Processed by NVC, where NVC schedules the interview, but it seems you are allowed to reschedule it using the IV link in Tricked's post.

I am attaching the PDF file which lists what they require for the interview and it mentions nothing about previous passports.

I would hate a 9:00AM interview in London for sure! I may have got our hopes up for nothing. I tried to go thru the register for interview link but at some point I chickened out cause you need your case info.

Oops well anyway I tried to attach it, I'll try my chrome browser.

I really hope that the majority of the November filers have been approved. I can't wait to see Nebraska approving more December filers and starting January.

Maybe you will want to have a closer look on the case tracker. I tried yesterday, filtering November filers, if I am not mistaken there is not less than 50% of November filers (Nebraska) have not been approved.

Guys I'm really tired of this waiting process. I mean it's 2016 and we people still wait for almost a year to get a visa. It's unbelievable :{ I'm also nervous because I've never made to go abroad. I mean it's really expensive for Turkish people to visit abroad. Once I had a chance to go to Germany. But I was at the high school then and I couldn't get the Schengen visa because my school didn't allow me. Then Morocco. No visa. I was about to go again. This time my friend left his country to study in another country. Once I was about to go to Indonesia (my dream country). This time my parents got divorced!!!! I don't know why I am so unlucky... I feel like God doesn't allow me to leave this country ':( I hope this time it's my turn........

Fatigo: It is a frustrating process but if you look into the fact you will understand. Each year USCIS processes 6 million applications, yes, it is six million applications/year. It is greater than population of the entire Denmark.

Maybe that number helps to give you an idea of why it is a very long waiting game. Other info may encourage you a little bit better, quite a number of Nov filers and December filers have not been approved while you already got your NoA2. So stay calm and focus on your NVC to make it faster where you can proactively push up the progress not like just sitting back and wait for the NoA2.

Wish you all the best at NVC and the rest of the journey.

If you use an iPhone maybe you try to look for the app in App Store. I downloaded it and used for a while when I got nothing to do :))

I found it. Thank you. How do you filter by date? All I can do is searching by case number and I don't know what the LIN numbers look like for November. :-(

Hi Fatigo, it may seem like a year but we've only been waiting 4 months so far. :) Your time to leave will be coming soon. But you know once you leave it may be a while before you get a chance to visit Turkey again. So why not try to enjoy the friends, family and home you have now, cause for sure once you are in the US, there will be times when you miss your home. Life is always greener somewhere else but you know, "Its not having what you want, its wanting what you've got" :) Had to add that Sheryl Crow line in. :P

Ok well here's the scoop for London.

IR-1 / CR-1s, non DCF, interviews are only scheduled by NVC. You can only get the appointment changed if you call the Embassy, but they will not guarantee that you get it on that date, but will offer you something else.

London K-1s and DCF's go through NVC for a short instant in time, but don't really, and the appointment would normally be scheduled by the embassy, but now they are allowing people to schedule them.

Oh well, be prepared for that 8:00 on a Monday! :D
