sophjosh895: so the RFE is about to prove you guys have frequent communication with each other ? If that is the case, changing the name is not a good idea, play as it is and find a way to prove the nick names you guys are using belong to you.

What the chat program are you using?

we use whatsapp a whole lot,Skype,Google hangout,Imo.How we prove that

Hey guyz, howz everyone holding up......hope good...anyways want to ask a quick question.... Abt sending out my RFE back to CSC..we have our Chat logs with our pet names,do we have to change it to our real names before printing out....yeah the RFE came on Monday.......

So they are asking for relationship evidence?

I don't know if you want to change the names, just document what name is who.

But you must have some sort of things like meetings, airline tickets, boarding passes, passport stamp, receipts from places you went together. Anything at all to show that there was money exchanged between you two, especially the US petitioner to the foreign spouse.

For whatsapp, go to settings on top of the screen you see your info there, hit it then you see the details (number you used to register whatsapp, nick name...). Now you have to prove the number you registered for whatsapp belongs to you, you may have phone bill...

Hope it helps.

I can't believe the RFE asked you about chat logs!

What did they really ask, it has to be more general than that?

Me and my husband use whatsapp all the time. Do yall ever call each by your real names in the chats?? Cause if so you don't have to change your nicknames at all. Also, you can screen shot both of yalls profile page (That has your name, phone number, pic) off of whatsapp print it out and send it with your chat logs. So they will know that it is truly you both. Just an idea or suggestion of what else you can send.

Hey, I've been watching this thread for a while but not posted, hoping to give everybody a glimmer of hope today that progress is being made! So, our 130 was sent Dec 2nd 2015, NOA1 is dated 7th Dec 15 (pd right??). It was sent to Nebraska service centre and was approved yesterday (4/4/16), after 119 days, no RFE. Things are moving forward!

Now am I right in saying we wait for it to be sent to NVC and wait to hear from them? If it's longer than a few weeks start chasing?

Dig in guys, hopefully not much longer for those still waiting ?

I would call the NVC early next week and continue to call everyday until you get your case number and invoice ID number. Calling them will save you a lot of time waiting. Never wait for the NVC to contact you.

Hi TylerTruc congratulations wow that was quite quick. I suspect you filed from abroad, am I correct? We've had several people already gone to NVC, like in a month or two, but all except one of them filed from abroad.
