Yes I just called USCIS and they told the same date. I told him that I saw on Visa journey that ppl with late October dates have started getting approved. He said that the September date means That Nebraska have completed every case that had a date before September 2.

Oh ok thanks for the info, Ms.F.Brown and Gryphon. Oh but that's a really terrible way, cause there are always extreme cases that take forever to process. So if the wait for every one with that NOA1 date you're always going to get a screwed up timeframe!

If you think, September 2, means it will take 4 months to make it to the end of December! I'd rather go with VJs way of doing it! :D

NOA1 - 12/21/15

NOA2 - 04/18/16

NVC Receive - 04/29/16

NVC Welcome - 05/13/16

DS-261 - 05/14/16

AOS, IV PAID - 05/27/16

DS260 done - 06/10/16

Case Transferred to US Embassy in Riga Latvia at the end of October.

So I still need to wait 60 days more.... I though we approved this month...

VJ says CSC is processing Nov 26 NOA1, So if it goes at that rate you may be done in a month. It strange how CSC slowed down so quickly.

Thanks kooky, I thought is going fast... Because December was all vacation of this month, people didnot have time to send i130, so hope is not going more than 15 days...I'm a dec 14 paririty date...

Priority date has to do with Visa availability after NVC doesn't it? Its your NOAi date is what the processing times on VJ are using.

But when it comes this close you never know, it could be tomorrow or a month or so from now, there's no telling cause its like rolling dice, flipping coins, or like predicting when the next bolt of lightning is going to hit!

Hi everyone. Just feeling a bit frustrated and impatient today because we have paid for the IV and AOS and filled out the IV app online. But took too long to ask for my husband's police certificate and now I can't send in the AOS package til we get it. It can take 3 weeks according to the woman at the police station. I have every other document we need (except his army record that I need translated and notarized but that should get done this week). And next week we have an appointment at the embassy to get my (foreign born to US citizen) son's birth certificate, passport and social security. So things are moving along but it's annoying to have to wait 3 weeks for this document. Boo hoo. I know a lot of you are waiting for stuff to happen, too. Some days are easier than others.

hey blanche! we are at the same stage, I had to wait a few weeks for my police cert too but now i finally have it. My wife's mother got her tax info and she is sending them to us and then we will send everything together hopefully next week sometime. I guess we have to be grateful that filling from abroad seems like a faster process, it's still a long slog though but we are getting there!!

Oh good to know, Dublin! :) Normally I DO look on the bright side of things but ya know, some days ..... you just don't have the patience.

yeah for sure, there are good days and bad days! To me i like to remind myself that this is my last Autumn/Winter/Spring in my home country. I have lived here all my life so I am trying to take everything in and take mental pictures of everything around me. Our lives will all change so much in the next year we won't have time to appreciate the litte things for a while so let's try do that now right? :D

Hi Blanche yeah thats the part I was talking about before. Things that are completely out of your cotrol and nothing you can do but wait. Makes you feel crazy cause there's this new phase of your life that you're so eager to get to but you can't.

I can understand what Dub42 said about enjoying these things that you will rarely see again, but he is in his country, and your country the US, is where you want to get back to so its not quite the same.

Hopefully you can get your mind off of it, that's the only way I know to make time move faster! :)
