Yes I know we all have this problem, but I think nothing is happening with our cases, they are just sitting in a big queue waiting turn to get processed.

Just imagine taking a number, 1000, with number 1 being processed, and maybe 200 gets processed every month.

One month down and maybe 4 to go if we're lucky.

So I just checked my USCIS case status today and found out that our case was approved!

That was fast (43 days) knowing our case was sent in Nebraska. Finally our case is moving.

So January 21 is my NOA 2 date then? Or is it when i received the hardcopy? I'm not sure..

Best of luck to everyone! Let's hope and pray that your NOA2s will arrive sooner than expected. ?

Wow Deedah! That was quick! Hey just curious was your husband filing from abroad? Is he in the military? Just wondering if there were special circumstances in your case. But anyway onto NVC and all the other work that comes with that, but well worth it, congratulations!!!

Nope, he didn't file from abroad nor he's in the military. But I checked other timelines similar to me (same filing month, same country where I'm from, same service center) and mostly all their NOA2s arrived a month after their NOA1. That was why I was expecting my NOA2 to arrive this month. Maybe the country where I'm from, a factor? I'm not sure.

But i guess we really can't figure out why some cases gets approved quicker than everyone else, right? That will always remain a mystery. ?

But anyway, thank you!! Your NOA2s will arrive soon, i'm claiming it! ?

Yes one never will know how magic works! I was curious cause all the other approvals in this thread have been from abroad so was just wondering if yours was one of them. Good luck the rest of the way!

Thank you!! Well, i really can't tell. but what you sent are similar to mine. The additional docs that i sent (aside from the i 130, g 325a, and legal docs) was some of our photos from 2009 until our wedding, wedding invitation, passport stamps (where we spent our honeymoon) and hotel receipts. His passport stamps (everytime he comes home here in the Philippines) That's it. but.. Knowing you're case was sent at CSC, maybe your NOA2 will arrive soon. It's one of the fast service centers. ;)

What only 30 pictures! :D I have no idea what is good enough so I just put in the kitchen sink! I think they care about what you to did after getting married. So if what you showed looks like a real marriage relationship. I also put in stuff like affirmation letters from people who know about your ongoing relationship and anything else that shows you two do lots of stuff together.

I think you can still send in evidence to supplement what you did send, in case you want.

Yeah. From start to finish. Basically backing up the evolution of our relationship with plenty of family pics(her family), too. I had post marriage pics. I'm not going to even get started on travel. We never traveled together anywhere in long distance. So we used what we had.

Congrats deedah!!! That is so awesome. You must feel a weight lifted from your shoulders for sure. :)

I can't believe how fast some people's petitions are being approved! Back in the days when we had applied for a K1 in 2010, people would have been freaking OUT that someone had been approved that fast!

I myself am actually in no rush, if you can believe that I'm not insane. I am more than likely going to be signing a lease on an apartment in April so I'd like to finish the leash and then move to Michigan after. I don't want an RFE but if they take their time, that's cool, too.

Met: December 2009

Married: April 2015

Received CR-1 visa: February 2017

POE (as IR-1): April 2017

Oath ceremony: November 2020
