Reason to believe is all that is required.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

OP you no longer works at the airport ....why... When employees are suspected in any

smuggling drugs, ppl or contraband, even when they dont have proof to make an arrest

you can be reported to the consular office of suspected involvement.

As an ex employee I would look to the airport even a malicious co-worker can call in a report

without official authorization ...in that case of embassy logging such report, the Canadian &

UK embassy will have the same info...each contact the other when tourist visas are applied for

in JA

As other posters have mentioned, your best bet is to get a police certificate and submit it to the embassy. The police certificate will state what, if anything, you have on your record. If Jamaican police issue different types of certificates, make sure it's one that lists any and all arrests and/or convictions, not just "the last 5 years" or anything in those lines.

Do not see what a Police Certificate would do in this case.
