I got my VAMA approval!!!!!!

This is my timeline:

7.1.2015 submitted I-360

7.28.2015 RFE notice

7.31.2015 sent RFE

2.1.2016 APPROVAL receive

I should also share, my I-485 (which was submitted originally with my ex husband I-130 petition) was held in abeyance and I had the interview on Oct 20, 2015 for the pending I-360. The officer said she was going to put in a request to waive the second interview since she interviewed for an I-360 petition, so I am not sure what's next for me. So I'll wait & see.

I will keep you posted on my next stage.

Guys, just pray and have faith that it will all work out for you. Last year this time I was in such deep depression and if it wasn't for counseling received through a government shelter. The journey does feel long but your breakthrough is coming.

God Bless & keep you all.

Congratulations DaBabe 83 with your VAWA approval!

I am trying to figure out when I should expect interview notice. They transferred my case on November 27 2015 to NBC. My local office has some delays and processing time is about 6 months for I485. Should I count approx 6 months from the date when case was transferred or how does it work? How much time usually takes to get interview notice from time case was transferred to NBC?

I appreciate any answers or timeline share.

Hello Everyone,

I just would like to share my experience to you guys. I tried to read all the VAWA posts to seek for an answer for my case. I applied for my I-360, I-485 and I-765 last Aug 25, 2015. My lawyer, which is based in Seattle forwarded me an email about the I-797C last 09/19/2015. I had my biometrics done last 10/08/2015 for I-485. From that time, I haven't heard anything from USCIS. I went to USCIS Buffalo office last 12/10/2015 to follow up about my I-765 but they couldn't give me an answer, they just said that there is a bit of delay with the processing time. Last Jan 14, 2016, I emailed my lawyer to follow up about my I-765 but still, no response from USCIS. Again, last Jan 25, 2016, I submitted an online inquiry about the status for my I-765, nothing changed. I'm more than 110 days passed the normal processing time. I did not received any RFE or any notification at all. I'm so worried.

After a lot of inquiries made, I had a terrible emotional breakdown. It's really hard for me and I get so emotional everyday. I even thought of buying a ticket flying back home and forget everything. I don't know what to do know. I feel so lost.

I appreciate any response from you guys. Thanks

Reeses your VAWA was approved and you never got the approval letter and USCIS web site was not updated , it happened with other members here before. One girl from Ukraine went to the AOS interview and her GC was approved, her VAWA approved and she didn't know about it.

USCIS would not approve your Green card without having approved your VAWA first , since you are a VAWA self petitioner. Congratulations. Thanks for the beautiful email.

Dear Guys,

Yesterday, I posted a sad post about my disappointments and frustration about my application. Today, I woke up late and I got a message alert about the approval of my I-360 application. I literally woke up in tears. I cannot express how happy I am by getting that notification. I felt that all the things that I worked hard for already paid off! I just want to tell everybody that "never ever loose hope". There's an end to every storm. Once all the trees have been uprooted. Once all the houses have been ripped apart. The wind will hush, the clouds will part, the rain will stop, the sky will clear in an instant. But only then, in those quiet moments after the storm, do we learn who was strong enough to survive it. Just stay positive guys! Thank you for all your posts.

Dear Guys,

Good morning! Thank you very much for the messages. I appreciate it a lot.

I have a question. I received my approval email last friday for my I360. What's next? How long will I need to wait for the interview?

Also, my x husband messaged me last night telling me that "our marriage was annulled due to fraud" and he is now engaged. will that affect me for my AOS?

I'm just worried. Also, I haven't received my EAD, I'm still wondering why. Thank you very much guys.

Redmango88 Having the divorce granted based on Fraud your chance to have the AOS approve is very small .Yes it will affect your AOS big time.

Did he serve you the annulment papers or were you served by publication?

Dear Sandra,

Thank you very much for the response. I just saw online that he filed a case of invalidity last year. He just emailed a document for me sign in and i mailed it to him.

he said few days ago that our marriage was annulled due to fraud and he's now engage with his fiancé.

What should I do? I'm still waiting for any notification from USCIS after my I-360 was approved last friday.

I appreciate your help a lot. Thanks.

He sent you a document to sign and you signed ,it seems at some point you were served the papers, why you didn't follow your case? Prepare yourself because ypur chance to has ve the AOS approved is almost non existent.

at that point, i thought it was for divorce. I tried to avoid him because I don't want to go back to the painful situation, its really hard for me.

You mean I cannot do AOS even I had a approved I360?

Thank Sandra.

You can submit the AOS of course but the chance to have the AOS denied is huge. You will have to show the annulment in your AOS interview.Annulment based in fraud is bad, really bad. You should hire an attorney to attend the AOS interview with you.
