@DaBabe83

I sure can relate to your frustrations after paying an atty a lot of borrowed $$$$ and they take a back seat as you continue to suffer but guess what...God is always on our side and a door opens in the form of a congress woman to see you through...prayer works?? And God Listens?

So happy for you and Praying that you get your job back?

DABAE83 was your I-765 or AOS approved, it seems your AOS was approved, despite they said 30 days, you will receive your GC in 10 days. One person from VJ that I helped here got her GC this week without the interview.

Lihn There is no fee to renew the I-765 and I-131.Yes submit both forms .

Form I765.Question 11 Have you ever before applied for employment authorization from USCIS?

The place you mailed your I-765 is the place where the EAD was approved.

Question 15. Current Immigration Status?

Approved I360, pending I485. Put "pending I-485".

Question 16: Eligibility Category : C 9.

Hi Sandra.... My I-765 was approved... Still nothing on my AOS for which I went to the interview last Oct & was interview base on my I-360 that was pending at the time & was told when there was an approval or deny I would get a response for my AOS. My I-360 was approved since Feb 1st and nothing has change. I have an infopass for this Thursday, what should I be asking them?

Hey guys, I received my work authorization card yesterday, thanks to my congresswoman.

I went to the infopass on Thursday to check the status of my AOS & found out my file was sitting in a general area & was no longer assign to the officer I did my interview with in Oct. It then an hour to locate my file & I was told there's nothing else to be done on my part, and only for them to run my fingerprints & biometrics and make a decision. I was told by the officer that his supervisor would assign my case to an officer.

I asked to have my attorney removed from my file because since the year stared she has not follow up on my case & if I was persistent & went to this second infopass my file would have been sitting there without being assigned.

I know we have to be patient & wait this process out but also stay on top of the time frame because my case has been out of the normal processing time & immigration officers are human beings just like us & from my experiences with them they have been very understanding & helpful. So follow up when you know you are outside your processing time because it could be that your file is just sitting in a general area without any assignment.

Good luck & stay safe.

Lihn luong, when I first started my petition I was in Louisiana. My case was transferred to nbc only last month and my lawyer who lives in louisiana received a week after a rfe about to fill up the new form. We sent it less than a week and i am still waiting. But my case probably will be transfered to utah, where i am living now. Anyway, I have no idea... They say it takes 2-6 months from nbc to get an interview!

Folks I am coming here to repeat something that I said 1000 times before, but it seems many people never read what I said.

a) I will not share a psychological evaluation with you or with your psychologist.

b) I will not contact your psychologist or answer your psychologist email either!

c) Please, when asking my help do not tell me when you need the affidavit reviewed,I will review when I have time, I have a bunch of cases.

d) If I agreed to help you and I reviewed your case please do not contact me after 3/5months saying "I am ready to submit my case", ####### ..(it happened many times).

e) If you are filing VAWA based in MENTAL ABUSE please do not contact me until you have a psychological evaluation done .I will not review your case based on mental abuse without first reading the evaluation. I will not consider a psychological evaluation of 2/3 pages, period.

f) If you were physically abused and DO NOT HAVE A POLICE REPORT, you must have a shelter letter, or pictures of the violence (pictures must show your face as well), or hospital records stating about the abuse or a restraining order.

g) I will not give you my phone number, if I need to talk with you I will call you. I will not Skype either.
