Geohaven, they sent your case to NBC first, then to local office. Check the transfer notice you got in October. It should say there. But I am not sure why it took so long to transfer it from NBC to local. I hope you will get your interview soon!

I am slightly worried here is the status online: I have sent the RFE for the i-360 why haven't they changed the status? Its been 2 weeks since they received it. Also why haven't they sent me the request for biometrics?

On April 13, 2016, we mailed a request for additional evidence for your Form I-360, Petition for Amerasian, Widow(er), or Special Immigrant , Receipt Number EACxxxx. The request for evidence explains what we need from you. We will not take action on your case until we receive the evidence or the deadline to submit it expires. Please follow the instructions in the request for evidence. If you do not receive your request for additional evidence by May 13, 2016, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Fees Were Waived

On March 24, 2016, we received your case and waived the filing fee for your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization , Receipt Number EACxxx. We mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by April 23, 2016, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

@patienceisvirtue

my status online still says that they've mailed me a RFE, but my VAWA was approved back in December. The website isn't reliable. And not sure about biometrics, I got my EAD(haven't applied for AOS just yet) without biometrics done

Amandla at least your interview stress is over now. I know sometimes they dont approve on the spot, and you have to wait for decision in mail. I hope you will get it soon.

Amandla and Skazzka, congratulations on reaching this part in the process. I believe you'll both be fine and your GC will be mailed to you as it always seem to be from the account others have given. They rarely give on the spot approvals.

Hello to all. I m new at this forum. I m happy to see many of you are having excellent results with vawa. I applied for vawa on february of 2016 then they sent me an rfe for good moral character. But i included my DOJ record with my fist package any way i respond to the rfe with local criminal records and resend DOJ record again. Then they sent me a prima facie on april 27. To any of you who had a prima facie, how many were approved and how long it took?

Polilla VAWA approval is not related with prima facie. Prima facie is to get public benefit,that being said people with prima facie might have the VAWA case denied and people without prima facie might have VAWA approved. Vawa takes 3/5 months to be approved.

Geohaven what file are you talking about? You have to explain better, please.

Hi guys, hope everyone is staying safe....

I went to an infoPass appointment for the renewal of my EAD which I had submitted since Dec. 2015, they told me it went back into workflow on May 6. Has anyone ever gone to an infoPass for EAD & how long after did u get your card.

I lost my job because the other one expired. And I'm not completely sure what 'went back into workflow' means.
