Rebirth if you submitted form l765 and chose option C9 then you will get your EAD soon, even when is still pending the Vawa and AOS.

I actually filled my vawa application and I -485 together last year August 4th

2015 . They sent me a prima facie letter on August 13th 2015 and I have not heard nothing from uscis since then.

According to vsc processing time vawa takes 5 months and I already passed that time a month ago.according to the prima facie letter it says no final decision will be made on my case before 180 days from the date that the letter was issued and this time already passed as well. Now I do not know what to expect or even what to do , please let me know what should be done.

Just a question for anyone with any knowledge/experience on this issue... I am getting ready to submit my AOS/EAD/AP with fee waiver after my I-360 approval but got stuck coz I currently cannot afford to get a new medical done and I desperately need an EAD.

Question is:

1. Can I go ahead submit the forms without the medical and await a RFE?

2. Is it possible for USCIS to issue a EAD without having received my medical?

You must Understand that your vawa form and your ead form and your ap form 360 765 131 are accrpted processesd and approved with no need of medical , so you are good till your vawa is adjudicated , if you are god forbid refused so you will not need your medical , if you are approved , they will start to move on to your aos form 485 and will start asking you for your medical and finger prints etc

So , yes you will have your ead card in hand you can work and earn money and after that you can get your medical done.

Thanks hopeholder5922323.. Just to clarify my VAWA(I-360) just got approved last month and am now trying to submit docs for Part 2 of my journey AOS(i485/765/131) which were never submitted initially with my I-360.

You will be good , and u know what , may be this is for your benefit to submit medical late , in my jiurney i had to resubmit medical twice as my first one expired and i was asked to resubmit another one just before my aos interview , and i paid twice , so you are lucky , smile dear and good luck

LOODA you can ask a congress person to inquiere on your behalf.USCIS will not give you any imformation over the phon regarding your VAWA.

Hey guys! I desperately need your advice! My passport was stolen and in order to get it back I need to prove Russian citizenship. Russian embassy is super disorganized and I've been trying to get in there for 2 months now with no results. But even if I magically get in there tomorrow and submit all the docs it's gonna take them 3 months to check my citizenship and 3 months to issue a new passport. I've read here on VJ that not everyone had their biometrics done for EAD. Should I try to submit the docs for EAD without an ID? What's the worst thing that can happen if I do try it? I have a Russian passport(that's in Russian and works like American ID. It expired when I turned 20, but there's no actual expiration date on it). I really can't go any longer without being able to work:(

You will be good i did ead renewal 3 times and they never asked for biometrics , in application support centers ASC where they take your biometrics , they are very understanding , i saw old chinese people who managed to do biometrics with no id , you will be good , uscis wont ask for biometrics for ead , even though if for any reason you were asked to do them , go , take with you whatever kind of id , photo copy , old russian passport , and explain vawa abuse , all your papers are not reachable and you will be good , good luck maya malinkaya
