Apart from our marriage certificate, we didnt keep records of our telephones emails and other conversations from engagement till marriage, nor did we hire professional photographers to cover our wedding. All we have is a bunch of photos and 2 miniclips of our wedding which our friends and family took randomly(some pics are good, some unprofessionally taken by my younger cousins). would it be sufficient or am i supposed to arrange more proofs. My wife is pregnant and we have slips of dotor's appointment and ultrasound reports, though her due date is 3months after our interview(would it be enogh proof to convince embassy?)

At the bottom is a huge list of ideas for evidence.

Proving that you are married is simple. Conceiving a child is simple. That won't get you the visa.

What you need to do is show a bona fide relationship from the time when you first became a couple until the present. That is what is needed to secure the visa.

Wedding photos taken by guests are still wedding photos. Not everyone hires a professional photographer. (USCIS won't take digital video, though, so stick to printed photos or stills.)

As for the communication evidence, the (US) phone company can probably help with old telephone records, and those might even be available online. If the emails were deleted on both sides, they are probably gone, but perhaps they were archived instead? If you use a communication apps, these often keep records that users can access; I've seen threads here on how to get records from various apps.

Don't forget evidence of visits and time spent in person, as well as the time spent communicating while apart. The list linked above has many other examples of evidence.

Since you are in the same place, look at some of the evidence that is not often mentioned in these threads because it's difficult/not expected for couples in separate countries: joint lease/mortgage/other evidence of shared address; joint bank accounts, bills, or property; evidence of trips taken together.

I think we are in the same situation as you guys are... We live together here in Colombia and we don't have join bank accounts because It doesn't work like that here.. No mortgages, or properties together... In the first package we sent pictures through the time of our relationship from the beginning until now with our family and friends, copy of a wedding announcement my family did after our wedding, affidavits from his family and friends, Facebook posts in our pages from us, family and friends, copy of the receipt of my engagement and wedding ring, copy of his spouse visa here in Colombia, copy of letters and cards between us, screenshots of conversations between my mother in law and I, copy of passport stamps from the times he came to visit me when he was my fiance.

We didn't want to send screenshots of our conversations or face-call records because they are from long time ago, we don't normally text or call since we live together and work at the same place, so to collect evidence for the interview we are planning more pictures, maybe take some of those old records of calls and messages. I was worried about how to prove we live together and we just got a mail from his bank that has our address on it and I have the internet bill on my name so we can show join address now.

We just sent our first package yesterday, so I guess we still have a long time to keep collecting evidence, what has us worry is the thing about reestablishing residence there... So I hope everything goes good in your process.... I have read that anything that look simple for us can be a strong prove of evidence....

I know this is difficult, but I will keep trying. It will work because, this distance is nothing compared to our love.

10/2013 we met at church in USA, through some common friends. We became friends.

06/07/2014 we went to our first date. :dancing: Why did we take so long to go out? :ranting:

06/22/2014 I said YES.. I want to be your girlfriend... :luv:

07/16/2014 I had to come back to Colombia because my program was over

10/10/2014 My love met me in Colombia to spend my birthday weekend with me. We got engaged (L)

02/17/2015 - 03/09/2015 He came back to Colombia to visit me and met my family. :star:

05/12/2015 We couldn't stand the distance, so he decided to move here with me.

05/28/2015 We got married at the notary. 06/06/2015 We got married at church :D

12/03/2016  Moved back to the USA. 🥰

08/2020 Became a Citizen. 🇱🇷

Pregnancy is never considered adequate proof of a relationship. Working with children in a Social Services program, I meet soooo many women who haven't even known who the father of their child was, or they remembered the man they slept with, but not what his name was or where he lived.

Don't worry about not having a lot of photos of your wedding. That's not proof of a relationship either. Since you've lived together 4 months, you need to produce as much evidence of that as possible, though even that won't prove you actually have a real 'in love couple" sort of relationship, which is what they're looking for. They're not looking for proof you know each other, or even know each other quite well, they want proof that you're in love with each other. That's why they like to see "in the moment" pics, and long, loving, personal conversations, letters, etc.

We didn't have a lot of proof of our marriage. But we had tons of affidavits and pics of the wedding and things from friends. Pregnancy is a plus, ultrasounds pics of you guys with family members. make sure you write everyone's name on back of the picture. Family members writing character affidavits, are great as well..

MashaALLAH congrats on the pending baby
