Cruz said he voted against the defense Auth act becuse he promised his electorate, he would vote against any law that allowed the govt to detain citizens without due process.

You got to like that

Bush said we need no fly zones , imbeded troops and to arm the kurds.

Politicians will say whatever it takes to get the vote in most cases. Trump isn't going to start nose diving until he offends the majority. It's been shown in his case, no matter what he says, his supporters will cling even harder to his statements.

And he gets more support as time goes on. Another person was thrown out and roughed up at a rally.

That's who's running for the highest office in the land.

I'm starting to believe more and more that Donald Trump is playing one of the greatest practical jokes in history. No candidate (not even Sarah Palin) is doing a greater disservice to the GOP than Donald Trump. Though I don't agree with him, I understand his appeal. He says flat out what a lot of Americans are thinking but don't dare say in public (thanks to media and unhinged political correctness). The problem isn't that 28% of GOP primary voters agree with him. The problem is that nearly 100% of Democrat, most independent voters and even most Republican voters don't agree with him and find him completely unelectable at best.

Whether you agree with Trump or not, if he wins the nomination, Hillary will be the next president of the United States.

I say this as a liberal who misses the old GOP and is secretly hoping for a moderate Republican president - Not because I agree more with the GOP, but because I don't believe that any liberal will be able to de-polarize the country at this point.

I think after tonight, he starts the long slow goodbye.

I swear I think the guy has a screw loose.

Warming to Rubio or Cruz

Don't jump to conclusions based on a few slips of the tongue, Let Trump be Trump

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.

People want an outsider. Hence the popularities of Trump, Carson, and (to a lesser extent) Cruz.

The last serious non-establishment or pre-picked candidate who ran as R or D was Eisenhower.

The usual/typical hand-picked insider candidates are having real trouble gaining traction.

We're living in amazing times, considering that the outsiders (Fiorina, too) are lasting so long.

Shh :)

I don't mind debate or opposing viewpoints at all, nor do I mind giving credit where credit is due.

Blind partisanship and polarization is a bigger threat to the constitution than anything - Something both ends of the spectrum are guilty of.
