Fiancé filled out form in blue ink...

Hi-

This is my first post; haven't found an answer yet on this forum, so I figured I'd ask.

At first, my SO typed his G-325a form, printed it, signed it, but left something blank. I didn't think I could write it in, so I had him fill in the form again and mail it to me from London.

I received it yesterday; he filled the entire form out in blue ink. Is that a no go? Does it have to be typed or black ink to avoid a rejection?

Is this something that will need to be done AGAIN, in black ink or typed?

I have read somewhere in VJ that blue ink is also fine.

There is no stipulation on black or blue, but the general rule of thumb for documents is used black or blue, never red.

Welcome to the forum.

There doesn't seem to be any ink stipulation on that form's instructions. That being said, it is wise to READ and follow the specific form instructions to avoid possible rejection. For example, the instructions for the Form I-129F, specifically state that black ink is to be used.
