jon - no dcf? ouch ! rapidvisa? double ouch ! do you think they will help you with nvc electronic processing, or no ?

and as to that 'advice' - no, sorry, dcf total is 3 to 4 months; regular processing with EP at NVC (USCIS, NVC, IV Unit) is around 11 to 15 months. NO EP at NVC? For Guangzhou IV, figure 17 to 19 months.

Sorry man..

Well shoot, I hope it isn't over 11 months! I have been looking at timelines on here and the average looked like it was about 6 months to NVC and another 2 months for interview. Either way, we don't plan on her moving here until Nov/Dec 2016. So I have some time to work through the process. I do with I had known DCF was an option.

What is EP?

Too late now I guess, so I will just keep waiting. :)

Guys, I have been reading about DCF for the last hour or so. I have a couple questions.

1. While I have a residency permit to live in China, I have been in the US since September 22nd, returning to China for 2 weeks in November and one week in December. I will return to China on Dec 28th, and stay for an undetermined time, but my contract is through the end of 2016, so I expect 8 months total time in China during 2016. Is that enough time to qualify for DCF? It says I need to have established residence for 6 months minimum. Does my extended return trip to the US for the last three months create an issue?

2. If my trips to the US do not create and issue, would I be better off canceling my current CR-1 application and starting one in China this January? Will canceling this one cause a slow down in the DCF and therefore defeat the purpose of doing a DCF filing?

Thanks!

Jon

IMO, that residence permit issued in China trumps most. Sure, you had to go back to USA for work stuff but your RESIDENCY was in China.

2. the two are not related. Suggest you cancel the stateside I-130 after you hear about the approved DCF'd I-130.

Thanks Darnell, I am going to do exactly what you are suggesting. Is the I-130 different Stateside vs in China? I have not looked at one other than the forms I filled out on rapidvisa.

Thanks!

Jon

ya, the I-130 form is the same. where to send it is totally different, ya? ya !

but it's not just the form. there's other stuff besides the G-325-A - study the 6 types of bonafide marriage evidence in the instructions - Guangzhou IV can be super hard !

Thanks, I looked at the bonafide marriage requirements, I can provide several of them. As for G-325-A, is that something I am filling out, or is that my wife's info? lol, I have read it, but I don't see where it says who is applying. I assume it is her information. Not much I can do about a hard interview, we will just have to tough it out! :)

each human (petitioner and beneficiary) fill out a G-325-A. Two humans? Two G-325-As. with original signatures.
