Waiting time from filing to NO1

Hello all,

I recently send in my petition for my fiance on 11/23/15 but up until now i still haven't received anything in the mail. I also check may account, the check that i sent with my application still not deposit.

My question is how long should i wait. I notice that most applicant on here received their NO1 within 10 days. Mine has been 3 weeks already. What should i do now, i'm worry that it might be lost in transit.

Just saying it is....the holidays... People generally slow down, projects are in a freeze, people take time off ...etc.

Did you sent your packet USPS or Fed Ex? Can you check to see if it was received? I sent ours last year USPS and asked for a receipt of delivery. I was able to track when it was received at the Dallas Lockbox.

It happens, dont worry. My friend was waiting for 22 days to get NOA1

sadly the place that prepared my paperwork for filling didn't send it with delivery confirmation (which pissed me off because they can send the whole thing in a flat rate envelope for less than 6 dollar)

If it was send with delivered confirmation than i shouldn't be worry, because i least i know they received it. Now I and them have no idea if they received it or it been lost somewhere.

Another question did they deposit your check first or you received the Notification first ?
