UPS made some errors in my package and instead of it going to my agent (who is also my co-sponsor), it's going directly to the NVC.

This means that the NVC are getting a package that contained my main sponsor (my wife) documents and my supporting documents but not my co-sponsor documents.

Worse, the package has a custom cover page (in addition to the NVC one which is on top) mentioning paper that are not there (my co-sponsor papers).

How do I fix up that mess? What would that do to the timeline?

:(

P.S.

How did UPS manage to mess up so badly? Apparently they couldn't read my handwriting, so they decided to open the envelope and search through the pages for something that looks like an address. The 2nd page was my custom cover page, addressed to the NVC - so they decided to send the package to there as "return to sender".

Worse, for 3 days I've been trying to use all channels to stop that delivery from happening - my local UPS branch, incident report, facebook report, immediate intervention from escalation team - each agent promised that "all will be well". I'm currently in a last-ditch effort to stop the package already on the truck - but I've lost hope and want to understand what can be done assuming that the package is delivered.

I think it should be fine. Just have the co-sponsor send his documents ASAP with your barcoded cover page. That way, they'll be able to get the two packages together hopefully before someone reviews and issues a checklist about the joint sponsor.

Wow! That's quite an unexpected feat especially for UPS!
