At the POE the officer stapled my I-94 to my passport page. The instructions say copy both sides of the I-94 to submit with I-485. Should I just submit what I can (which is only one side of I-94) or should I rip it out of my passport to copy the other side. I'd rather not do anything that will damage my passport.

I was a little disappointed by my I-94. I was expecting a whole form, regular paper size, and instead all he did was staple a small card to the inside of my passport.

BexandDavid,

I think there are alternatives to ripping that will enable you to remove the I-94 from the passport without damaging either the passport or the I-94.

I think it is called a staple remover.....

BexandDavid,

I think there's a middle ground between leaving the I-94 stapled to your passport and ripping it out of the passport that will enable you to photocopy both sides without damaging either the passport or the I-94.
