I hope someone has had this experience...

I was online ready to click "schedule appointment" for the interview when my cosponsor texted me and said she can't help. She was gathering documents for the I-134 and apparently had failed to mention this situation to her husband, so he freaked out. This was also the day that my fiance was leaving to go back to Brazil after staying with me for 2 months. I went out after taking him to the airport and applied for an overnight job since we lost our cosponsor. His interview is scheduled for January 19th and by that time I will be at this new job for just over a month. I also have a part time job during the day, so my income will be ten thousand over poverty guideline with both jobs. Does anyone who's interviewed at the Rio consulate think this will be a problem? From reading the reviews they sound very lenient but I'm just nervous. Should I write a letter explaining that my job is so new because we lost our cosponsor last minute? I supported him financially while he was here and I've always sent money to him and his mother throughout the year to help.

Please give me some advice!

N&Y

End is not the end, in fact E.N.D is

"Effort Never Dies" and if you get NO in

an answer, then remember NO is

"Next Opportunity". Always be positive.

Wow thats very unfortunate, but this wouldn't be the first time to happen and wont be the last. I had a friend who has gone with the same exact scenario 9 years ago, the joint sponsors mother convinced him not to do it, because she felt if the immigrant was unable to find a job then her son would be forced to abide by the laws and take care of him. My friend was able to quickly find another sponsor who happened to be a total stranger to immigrant and a distant friend to her. Anyway here is the twist to the story after arriving in the U.S the Immigrant went on to become very successful. In a matter of 9 years he opened up 3 very successful fast food chains and was able to pay off several homes. His friend and family who was initially supposed to be the sponsor were hit really hard by the recent economic crisis. He, his mom and dad all lost their jobs and their house was foreclosed. Guess who was there to help them all out and extend a hand? Yep the immigrant took them all in and gave them one of the houses he had owned rent free for a full year until they all got back up on their feet.

I hope it all works out for you guys. Best of Luck
