We do. It's called a background check.

Isn't it frustrating arguing anything to do with guns with people who have neither a clue about guns or any of the laws, process, or forms required to be filled out to get one legally?

Who is arguing? I am trying to educate myself and you folks are the teachers. The original premise of the article posted was " Using a secret and sloppy list to take away a constitutional right is a bad idea"

I was just trying to address the objection to comparing prospective gun buyers to the no fly list because from my , admittedly uneducated , perspective if you are not good to fly, you are probably not good to own a weapon,

If your are saying that a background check will go out to the no fly list and flag that transaction if there is a potential match, doesn't that potentially violate the 2nd amendment?

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.

I would hazard to guess that purchases already get flagged to a certain degree because the NICS system is run by the FBI. The thing is, the no fly list is very sloppy compared to the NICS. I've heard stories of 5 year olds being blocked by the no fly list, whereas that seems less likely with the NICS.

Glock 42?

I don't own a Glock, but have wanted a Glock 26 for a long time. My birthday is coming up in two months, and it might just be the time to get one.

The Brady Bill NICS? Not sure I see our prospective terrorist here:

I'm referring to literal online system that handles the 4473 form. I'm quite certain the FBI mines info out of that system these days.

Again, that doesn't mean they have the right to do anything about it. Especially if someone is on their list from simply visiting a country.

I had a e mail flyer about the Remington in .38, any thoughts?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
