My husband and I are getting a head start on gathering evidence to lift the conditions on his Green Card as we have to file in February. This is what I plan on sending for evidence:

Copy of our marriage certificate

Copy of driver's liscences both listing the same address

Copies of bank statements from our joint checking and savings accounts

Pay Upon Death/Beneficiary statments from our retirement and bank acounts (there's 4 of these all together)

copies of our 2013 and 2014 joint tax returns (2015 too if we get it done early enough)

Declarations page on our auto insurance

Health insurnace coverage

Itinerary for a trip to NYC we took in 2014

Sam's Club membership cards

Cards from family

Photographs

Unfortuantely, we don;t have bills in our name (well, not too unfortuante). My father in law owns the home we live in and pays for the utilities and cable. So that's all in his name, even the car my husband drives technically belongs to his dad. So that's why I'm a little worried that we may not have enough evidence because of this.

Thoughts? any other suggestions of things we could send?

My husband and I are getting a head start on gathering evidence to lift the conditions on his Green Card as we have to file in February. This is what I plan on sending for evidence:

Copy of our marriage certificate---No need at this point--that was for AOS

Copy of driver's liscences both listing the same address--OK

Copies of bank statements from our joint checking and savings accounts--Good---send at least quarterly complete statements spanning the entire marriage.

Pay Upon Death/Beneficiary statments from our retirement and bank acounts (there's 4 of these all together)--Very good

copies of our 2013 and 2014 joint tax returns (2015 too if we get it done early enough)--IRS Transcripts might be easier and less paper to copy. Order them online and you'll have them in a week to 10 days.

Declarations page on our auto insurance---OK

Health insurnace coverage--OKl

Itinerary for a trip to NYC we took in 2014--We included these kinds of things things too. They are not great evidence, but can't hurt.

Sam's Club membership cards--OK

Cards from family--They are not great evidence, but can't hurt.

Photographs--We included these kinds of things things too. They are not great evidence, but can't hurt.

Unfortuantely, we don;t have bills in our name (well, not too unfortuante). My father in law owns the home we live in and pays for the utilities and cable. So that's all in his name, even the car my husband drives technically belongs to his dad. So that's why I'm a little worried that we may not have enough evidence because of this.--Send an affidavit from your father-in-law stating these facts

Thoughts? any other suggestions of things we could send?--It looks pretty solid. Maybe you can add willS and medical power of attorney documents. We sent my will. As TBoneTX always says, they are great for ROC and better for life.

Good luck!
