Hello!

Need some insights here please. I had my K1 visa interview in Vancouver on Dec.8, and I was advised that my visa is approved and that my visaed passport will be delivered via Canada Post within 3 to 5 days and I will receive an email from Canada Post if its ready for pick up. My fiance' and I are still waiting at this time and havent received an email yet and upon checking ceac website the status still shows that our application is still under going administrative work(something along those lines). Does anyone have any idea how many days it would take for the visa to arrive? Please let me know if you went through the same process and how long did it take you to get your visa via Canada Post please.

I will really appreciate your help. My fiance' and I are praying we could celebrate Christmas together.

Typically I see here on this site it takes a couple weeks to get your passport back. Not 3-5 days. So your only a week out I wouldnt think you need to do anything yet. You should be able to see some kinda status update on the AIS website.

I got mine in 4 bus days but I'm not sure why they gave you Canada Post that is weird cause I got a diff shipper, but I'm sure u should get it before xmas ;)

I know, on my DS 160 it was with Loomis courier, but during the interview I was told Canada Post. Apparently it was they switched from Loomis to CanadaPost.

Did your status on Ceac website went on Administrative Processing too?

Thank you so much, makes me feel at ease atleast. Hopefully i get mine next week.

Wow I just got mine exactly a month ago from ur interview, they sure changed quick lol

And yes. Mine did that as well, it will change once it's been shipped out no need to worry :)

I just got my visaed passport today via CanadaPost!!! Thank you and thanks God! So happy!
