You just had your interview, you need to relax as it can be a few weeks or even a month before 2GO delivers your visa. No one really knows "when" you will receive your visa package as each case is different.

Relax. Check status once a day... visit with family, get your bags packed.

I was just telling another member in a private email that my wife's status never changed from AP to Visa Issued until a few days after she received her visa.

We had our interview on Monday, Nov. 23. We were pleasantly surprised when our status changed to "Issued" the end of the day Friday, Nov. 27. We got the actual visa about 10 days later. But, aothers said, things are quite variable, especially during the holiday season. But start packing, and checking flight schedules. If you have enough frequent flyer miles, you may well find that a much cheaper way to travel than paying high air fares around the holiday.

Also, do you have the CFO, or at least have is scheduled? That can take a while! We had my fiance do that before she got her visa to speed things up. But then you have to get the sticker separately. It is up to you.

Good luck. The visa journey is almost over!

Tom

It's difficult for anyone to predict when you will receive your visa. We are in "normal" visa processing times and we are seeing 5 to 10 business days after interview. But, at times we have seen upwards of 30 days to 6 months for some.

Part of the test measures in answering your question are, estimating the time it will take USEM to process, issue and 2Go to deliver. Since no one can exactly simulate all visa conditions, actual visa processing of each person will vary. As a result, when these estimated visa claims from other applicants are published, I almost always state the standard disclaimer "your mileage may vary."

The USEM states in their Embassy Letter; "Do not finalize arrangements for travel to the United States, dispose of properties, or resign from your job until a visa has been issued and delivered to you".

Thank you all for the response! I guess I will just start packing our stuff while waiting, In the meantime can anyone tell me if I need to register both for PDOS and GCP in the CFO website? And as for K2 am I right in guessing that I need to register all of my kids (K2) regardless of age in PDOS?

You need to register for GCP. Start here, and yes the kids need to register or take the course also. Age specific for children. Details here.

You are GCP and the children are PDOS, and like mentioned by Greenbaum - for the children attending the seminars are age specific, but registration is required for ALL no matter the age. Everyone need the CFO sticker in their passport to exit the country.

You may have to call CFO to cancel your 1st reservation, don't know that you can do that online.

Your children are all 13 years or older? (12 and under only need to be registered to get the sticker)
