Hello everyone I have a question I'm helping some friends with their migration process, the wine of the Dominican Republic with visa ride and if I'm doing an adjustment of status have everything ready but as I read I see and Form I- 131 applies to cases. He has his valid visa and had to leave the United States on 13 November

When you left in November without AP you abandoned your adjustment.

So you start with the I 130 and will be going for a CR1. The process is described in the guides.

Okay let me see if I have this story right.You are married and your husband came here on B2 Visa and you want to adjust status.

You are about to file Adjustment of Status but your husband had to leave the US? Correct?

The I-131 advance parole is for people who have filed adjustment of status. You have not so it doesn't apply to you.

Is this what your query is about?

If you had filed the Adjustment of Status and your husband left before you got your AP he would be stuck in his country and you would have to file I-130 and he would interview in his country.

When you are so candid and not giving detailed information, it is impossible for people to give accurate advice.....We have to guess what you are asking.

It seems there are many that come to VJ to ask questions for there "friends"....Give exact details to receive exact advice :)
