Hello Reader,

I got married, on 4/16/2015, in Pakistan. I came back to USA on July,2015. File Petition on July, 2015. Received Notice of Action with receipt number, and priority date July 02, 2015. Today it has been 5 months. I am still waiting on Approval or Denied. What I want to know, would it be okay I can go back visit Pakistan while my case is being Process or should I wait. If I should wait than how far along?

bluesky, if you are the US Citizen I see no problems in you going somewher to visit. There is no restriction that you must stay in the USA. Are you asking because you want to be here for the NVC stage of the process? If that is the case, hopefully others can help you with the timing as I'm not sure of that myself.

Best of luck!

Yes, that is correct! I want to be here if CSICS or NVC needs something else from me. I work full time. I want to go back to see my wife and it has been 5 months since I filed the petition, and I haven't received any reply from Nebraska Service Center. I called them last week and was told to wait 2 more months before calling. I was told it would take about 7 or 8 months before she get her visa, but now its taking forever.
