Hi i have bee in AP FOR 3 Weeks now. i emailed UStravel docs and they sent me this: please note that your visa is in final processing, once it is ready for pickup you will be notified via email. can someone explain to me what this means. Does this mean i will be issued a visa soon? am i being approved for a visa?

Once your visa is issued, the status on your ceac tracker should change to 'Issued':

Also, 3 weeks isn't that bad, especially coming from a predominantly Muslim country.

My uncle was in AP for about 1.5 years.

Hopefully, you'll get the visa soon!

AP could take 3 weeks, it could take 3 years. The only thing you can do is wait it out. My wife's AP was only 2 weeks. That said, most AP form what I have read here is normally under 4 weeks.

I think it means that they've opened your file so, if you see activity happening you know that at least your file isn't just sitting there.
