Timeline

I would like to share our recent travel. I have filed a CR-1 petition for my wife. She also has a B-1/B-2 10 multi entry visa. We have been traveling between Kyiv and Detroit with out any problems. Our last trip was in October for me to see a doctor. It turns out I must need a operation and was scheduled for December. Most of the time our last European flight leaves out of Paris. Because of the problems that Europe has had in the recent times we left from Amsterdam. OMG.....besides of the heavy security, things were slow and crowded. We passed the normal security checks and then were taken to a transport trailer to have a one on one with interpol investigators. Asking how long have we known each other...how long have we been married....asked about our children and many personal questions. Then the interviewer brought in a supervisor and we were cleared. Stickers were placed on the back of our passports and a receipt was placed inside of them.

Then we arrive in Detroit.....not a easy process as all the times before. We had all of our papers, letters from doctors, employers and all the normal documents we normally travel with....just incase.

Well my wife was pulled in secondary.....2 1/2 hours....A couple of things I would like to touch on.....Our government knows a lot about us....amazing of the amount of information they have.......they tried the trick of talking to my wife, then coming to the waiting area and talking to me to see if our stories were the same......They were so kind to remove our bags from the carousel....we only had 2 small bags, one containing 4 bottles of wine, a jar of home made vodka and sweets for gifts...the other contained clothes. They never looked in either....We have always been 100% truthful......and after that grilling, knowing the information they had on us I would never try to deceive
