Muslim groups in the United States are collecting money to support families of victims of last week's San Bernardino terrorist attack.

“We wish to respond to evil with good, as our faith instructs us, and send a powerful message of compassion through action,” the organizers of the fundraiser say on the campaign web page. “No amount of money will bring back their loved ones, but we do hope to lessen their burden in some way.”

Fourteen people were killed and 21 wounded when married couple Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik walked into a social services centre in San Bernadino, Calif., and opened fire on an office holiday party. Investigators say, the couple had been radicalized “for some time” and Malik had pledged allegiance to the Islamic State.

Didn't say they weren't charitable. Just pointing out that Muslims did this for the victims and it's not enough. Dear killed people, wounded others, in the name of Christ, but there hasn't been a call for them to raise money for the victims at the PP building.

Where did I say anything of the sort? I think it's nice that a group of people donate to a cause, Muslims or otherwise. But why get so offended by comments on a story? Almost looks like you are looking to be offended. You can probably read any Yahoo story and find a bunch of offensive comments against the story.

I'm not offended, just pointing out that even when a group of people does something to help those in need, they still get hated for it. That's all.

Being offended by a bunch of hateful comments isn't something to be ashamed of.

Raise money? You don't see christian ministers condemning the shooter. But since he is a christian, he gets a pass - after all, he acted on behalf of the religion of love.
