My fiance doesn't know where he can get his vaccination history in Germany. There is a complication as well. He was born in Czech and lived there until age 11, and then moved to Germany. Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Karoline

Probably the easiest thing to do is go to the Embassy recommended hospital and get all the vaccinations done. My fiancee didn't have vaccination record either so she got all of them, which was only 3 shots.

Obviously should be on file with the medical clinic/ Doctor's office where they were done... If not available then you can always get them re-done......

YMMV

He says they were all done when he was a baby in Czech, except for one (a tetanus) when he was around 18 years old. I said the same thing to him, to check with his family doctor in the town in Germany where he grew up. Surely, they would have to have those records??

Hello, :D

I don't think you get all your shots as a baby - some you get as you grow up and are in grammar school.

Any help from the parents...?

In Germany, am almost certain you get a little 'book' with these records as you need a lot of this information to attend school... if you don't get your answer(s) soon - PM us, Karin can surely help since we're making sure we have what we need right now.

Thanks so much Karin & Otto! Texas-Germany filers are the best ;) I also thought he wouldn't have all his shots as a baby, but must have gotten some later too. I think that maybe he has forgotten when he had them done (but don't tell him i said that) ;) Paul has called his parents who now live again in Czech, and they are looking into what records they can find. I also mentioned to him that maybe his schools had records of it or at least his family doctor. He has the contact info for the panel physician where he will more than likely have his medical exam so he will call him tomorrow and get recommendations. I will let you know what I find out or ask you guys if I need further help :)

Thanks again!

Karoline
