My case assigned date was December 7, 2015 and the DS-261 and AOS fee invoice were available today, December 8. I thought it was supposed to take a week and was a bit freaked. Is this normal or should I just be glad?!

I hope it's normal because I got the same thing. I called today and got case number and invoice number. I was happy about that alone!! Then when I logged in, everything was available. So I did the 261 and paid AOS. I'm actually allowing myself to get excited now. It's been a rough go for us and I'm kind of scared to believe it. I hope someone else with more knowledge responds!

I noticed on mine it says "Pay Now" for the other fee also but when I click it, it just takes me to the AOS receipt. So I'm guessing the other has to clear first? I read the guides like crazy and thought I knew everything but now I feel lost! HaHa.

hi I just filed for my parents petition and got an approval last month. Now uscis mailed my approved petition to nvc and waiting for what to do next. I just wanna know the next step once your petition is in NVC already….its been a week now since they sent my approved petition to NVC.

Am I waiting for their response thru email or mail?

Or call them to get your case numbers etc…..thank you!
