Okay so I thought I'd post for anyone going through the consulate in Cuba - anytime soon.. seems like the same woman who was there a year ago that denied any and all cases is back - and denying again.

I want to warn you that if you have an up coming interview in the next few months - I highly suggest being there.

Me and and another person recently in the past 2 weeks were denied with no grounds for a reason.

My case- they told my fiance we had PLENTY of evidence. those are the officers words to my fiance, but I was not present nor was anyone else to vouch for our relationship - they asked him if he spoke English and he knows VERY Little -

They denied him. Didn't ask him a SINGLE question about me or our relationship. Asked him 2 questioned and denied him. Told him to tell me to come to Cuba and get married then reapply.

Then the other person same thing - didn't ask his fiancee anything of the relationship but 1 question. Denied. No reason what so every just denied it, with plenty of evidence.

I understand I129F applications cannot be attested - but having a consular officer do this - and it's allowed. I mean really. There has to be something that can be done about this BS. I mean these are people's lives. What kind of nonsense is this.

isn't there a petitions or something that can be dawn - to have these applications reviewed by a secondary unit? I am sure me and hundreds of others on here would sign it.. Right?

This woman did this a year ago to several people on here - and sure enough I thought she had been rotated off and was gone but seems she came back just in time for my fiances interview. What are the odds.

That's not really why Im posting.. I get that she didn't think it was real - but why clearly state there is evidence. Either way my point for the post is to simply say that this woman seems to be the same one who was there a year ago and denied everyone who came through - and now she is at it again. She did it to me and someone else who just had their interview.

No excuses, no relationship questions - just a 1 off question and - DENIED. Not sure how it's allowed for them to do this. I get they can do whatever they want at our expense but there has to be something we can do - write a letter have it investigated- sign a petition for better reviews or a secondary review of denials and the reasons for denials.

Example my job - when something gets denied it goes through 3 other hands for an extensive review to verify it should have been denied - if not it gets reopened.

This woman isn't even putting things into AP - she is just denying them.

Not sure how to do that.. maybe a moderator can move it. didn't know there were specific forums for each country..

I know there is a consulate review - but that is a review, that no one can respond to. This is not specific to CUBA. This is a question for Everyone - and anyone.

About Fiance Visa's.. and seeing if anyone else has a petition started or something for consulate's that seem to deny with no actual grounds.

That is my point.

Not that I was denied - I get it was denied - I moved on from that.. Im trying to see if there is a way to fix this broken system and help others.

My fiance was denied on December 10th in Havana, Cuba by this same lasy I believe. We has tons of evidence including 2 years of calls, pictures, emails, all the trips ans sonograma because I am pregnant!! She still put the denial and revocation for possible immigration only and that we aren't "bona fide" and requested we get married and try with the marriage visa. Thanks to this dumb lady that destroyed us and now are devastated, my fiance won't be here for the birth of our child in May 2016 and I won't possibly be able to dly anymore soon once my pregnancy progresses. I am so miserable.

Sorry you are going through this. You can always reapply and submit additional evidence. You mentioned that you were not at the interview nor was there anyone to vouch for your relationship. Maybe next time you can go for the interview or submit written affidavits from friends/family vouching for the legitimacy of your relationship.

You also mentioned that your fiance does not speak english - do you speak spanish? Other concerns may be the number of times you've visited Cuba since you started dating. Or maybe if your fiance has close/immediate family members already in the USA - or if your fiance has tried to get a visa to the US in the past but was unsuccessful. When I was there for my fiance's interview in 2014, the lady interviewing us had print outs from my social media pages. Maybe they saw something on a social media page that caused concerns?

During our interview they asked us the following questions:

To my fiance (in Spanish):
-where do you work?
-have you traveled to other countries? how long was your trip?
-have you ever been a part of the communist party?
-she asked about the specifics of an item on his police report..how old he was when it happened, what was his punishment, etc

To me (in English):
-when did you meet?
-how many times have you returned to cuba to visit?

-do you speak Spanish?

So really there wasn't many questions about our relationship aside from when we met and how many times i've visited. I don't know your exact situation - but it seems like the person interviewing your fiance had some information that caused concerns. Hopefully you two can address whatever the concerns may be and re-apply.

Best of luck!
