CITIZENSHIP: 

Biometrics appointment for 2020-03-27 has been cancelled until further notice as all field offices are closed because of COVID-19.

***NOA dated 12/10/2020 USCIS stated they are able to reuse previous Biometrics***

Interview was easy. My hubby's Oath Ceremony is scheduled for February 25th. I can't watch >sad< but happy he is getting his certificate!

So I called today again, and they told me case is on hold for security checks!

I applied in Jan 2015, received RFE on September after the case was transferred to California.

Now I am sure I called them early January 2016 and they told me it's pending processing. I have to wait I guess.

Does filing N-400 (citizenship) accelerates the process, or it has no effect in this case?

Been waiting since April 2005, with no RFE and no updates, I will file the N 400 when I qualify regardless of ROC pending.

We all have received this formula response whether by email or send by post office's mail or by phone...you have to wait..

You really should send it in, you have nothing to loose. I filed mine I 751 in April 2015, I still haven't heard anything from them (no RFE either). I won't wait a day as soon as I qualify for, I am filing the N 400, it might breath life into your stalled application again. "You have nothing to loose", just do it

Im in the same boat here. Next month is exactly 1 year of my filing date. So should I file for N400 now or wait until my GC is expired?

Hey Kenny, you should file it. I will be 1 year in to next month and I plane to file also. My receipt date is April 16th, what is yours if u don't mind sharing.

Somebody have received smthg..I received a letter states to wait another 45 days...

I am wondering if it's good sign or bad sign..did any body have received this type of letter..
