Hi, i have my B visa interview tomorrow

If successful i do not want to leave my passport for processing now, as I am travelling to caribbean next week

Is it possible to be approved for a B visa but bring back your passport for processing at a later date?

London embassy, UK passport

Also, i have just returned from 80 days in US on VWP - should I wait longer before scheduling the B interview in London?

I have strong ties to Uk, but had to remain in US for longer this time, due to an extended vacation and attending conferences.

You do realize that if you are denied a B visa you cannot use ESTA?
