Yes sounds like your name got input wrong at some point snd they are updating it . maybe they pressed the wrong button instead of the one for NOA 2. Let us know what they tell you . Good luck to everyone

I called earlier, I was told "..someone must have checked your name and that's what it shows". She asked my full name, DOB, and address, and "nothing has changed". She didn't say I can except anything soon

Judging from the timelines "reported" by VJ members it's about 30 days on average so I am sure that you will be very close if not already approved. Hang in there.. I know it seems interminable! Every day seems like a month at this point...!

That adjudication date at the bottom of your timeline is an approximate not a guarantee. Have you look at Igors list? That can give u an idea of all the other November filer's that are still waiting for NOA2. However, I've notice that many VJers don't bother to complete or update timelines anymore so it's nothing to take as gospel.

I've been on VJ awhile. Patience is key in this process. When you look at those waiting over 7-8 months for NOA2 or spending years in AP, one month seems like a drop in the bucket. Everyone here wants to be with our loved one. There can be many bumps in the road along the way. I filed 7/2014. At that time our approval in 65 was awesome to me and yet we're still waiting to be together.

Best of Luck.

I have actually been on a J1 twice, once in 2008/2009 and once in 2014/2015. But I do not have the two-year rule so i thought it wouldn't be a problem...I should have maybe sent a copy of my Ds Form which states that I am not subject to the two-year rule, maybe it would have sped things up

Oh boy. Might be the background checks that's taking it too long for us.

And I never sent anything too, like a copy of my visa and some DS form.

Have you read my OP? I clearly stated there I know it does not promise anything, all cases are unique and estimating time is based on what other people have on their time line.

I've been reading VJ for 11 month. Trust me I have patience more than enough. In fact, I'm afraid I [we] will get approved too soon*. We are planning to marry only in July-August 2016. So, yes, I can wait 5 month (CSC time) easily if I have to.

*I know when she gets her visa she'll have 6 month to come to the States, I also know we'll have another 90 days to marry. I read every topic from daily new topics digest I receive on email. So, yes people, I have an idea of what's going on here, and how it's done. I said why I created this thread and now I'm closing it.

THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR INPUT.

To be honest, going through the process myself, there is nothing you can do unless CSC releases a new update and its been 2 weeks after the date they are currently "working on".

Minor criminal charge $10 fine. Yes it's very difficult. Staying strong. Patience and perseverance.
