Please help!! Applied for parents GC in March, dad's case was approved and mom is still pending.

Hello everyone,

If you could help me I would greatly appreciate it!!.

I applied for my parents GC in March and my dad's case status says approved, and my mom still shows stuff since May when they have received the request for further evidence( my dad was showing that too and we submitted in April for both of them, so that is not the hold up). I just called UScIS and asked to speak with a second tier officer who didn't know the basics of immigration(sorry, she didn't). After I explained the whole thing other she kept talking to me about a visa becoming available, I finally had to tell her my parents have a visa and then she still didn't know what she was talking about. Anyway, she also said that she can't help me because we just have to wait. She said that just because my dad's case says application was approved that doesn't mean he's GC was approved. ? So if any of you have been in this situation or knows anything about this and can give me some advice I would greatly appreciate it.

I am guessing you applied for your parents that are in the US on tourist visas?
