Paying for your K-1 before your interview?

This may sound like a stupid question but here goes anyway and hopefully someone from London might be able to put my mind at ease.

Have my interview in London 17/12/2015 and I'm all good to go and ready for it.

I was waiting for payday to pay for my visa in advance as the London k-1 guide so helpfully points out.

registered and paid the fee for home delivery and that processed fine but I cant see a prompt anyway to pay the actual amount for the visa. have they changed they way they do things? can i just pay for it at the embassy after I've been approved?

Hopefully i'm just worrying over nothing but we started the process in February and I really don't want to be the one responsible for messing anything up just before my interview.

If anyone can point me in the right direction or just put my mind at ease that would be great.

thank you in advance.

Brad

Did my payment a couple of days ago from the web address that was on the interview letter.... Once I'd registered & put all my details in it prompted me to pay the visa fee first, then separately at the end of the process I chose home delivery & paid that.

My fiancé had his interview today (approved, yay!) and he paid beforehand using the instructions in the letter he received from the embassy.

I can't help with how to fix it because I didn't do an online pay when we did K1. I know a few others who had trouble with the system and paid at the embassy. They still have a cashier window there and will send you to pay. It is more efficient for them to have everything paid in advance, but they will still collect from you on the day if needed.

So im now a little bit worried.

cant find anywhere on the ais.usvisa-info.com site under my application to make the MRV payment for the visa. The courier charge for home delivery has been charged to my card and went through as normal.

I tried to make a payment over the phone using the automated service and putting in my identifier number that was emailed to me and the system tells me there are no MRV payments pending on my account.

I guess I will have to sort it out at the embassy on the day. hopefully wont be too much of an issue.

wish me luck

Hi there

yes not a problem,

just 2 windows down form where I had the first part of my interview was the cashier window.

The guy gave me a slip and sent me there and payment took about 5 minutes. you then go back to the window to finish part 1 then take your seat while you wait for your final interview.
