Hi everyone, my fiancee arrived on a K-1 visa and I've been reading the instructions on how to apply for an AP. Here is what it says:

If you are in the U.S., you must attach:

A) a copy of any document issued to you by the USCIS showing your present status in the U.S., and...

B) An explanation or other evidence showing the circumstances that warrant issuance of an AP document; or

C) If you are an applicant for adjustment of status, a copy of the USCIS receipt as evidence that you filed the adjustment application

-Correct me if I'm wrong, but for part A, the I-94 should be sufficient right?

-And for part B, what other evidence are they looking for? Or what type of explanation?

-Finally, for part C, I'm assuming if my fiancee applies for the AOS and AP at the same time, she doesn't need to provide a copy of the USCIS receipt. Right?

Thanks for the clarification,

Lou

Correct. Your wife must file the AP after the AOS and the AOS is the document showing present status.

You can put family visit, or whatever.
