I have been doing some short and long trades with crypto and overall I am good and making money. I have some short bets and some long ones, but like I said I am up so I ain't worried at all. Unlike one of my coworkers who has literally leveraged out his ### to buy in only a couple currencies and he is up about 20% overall but he has the stress of trying to make loan, credit card payments to pay off that money. The only big thing that has made the volume really low the last couple days is the China news, but that's only temporary as of right now. 

 

The ONLY problem I am having with Crypto right now is that I am buy coins and selling them for a profit, only for that coin to literally make 40% gains a few days later(OK Cash).

I haven't even really started reading and they are already citing the California Pension Retirement System(CalPERS). Which anyone who has spent anytime here in CA and actually looked at the CalPERS system you know it is nothing but a BIG PONZI system. They constantly are having to rob other systems for money to show up that system, and then come back to the tax payer to raise more taxes for the roads, schools, and homeless. All the while the money hardly ever goes to what it's supposed to.

See the funny thing is, while all my life I've been a TRADER in the stock market, I am actually an investor in crypto. I don't bother buying and selling, this thing deserves a hold for the long run. Did you ever get my pm? The list has changed quite significantly since then. I can update it if it interests you, I just never got a response. 

 

Indeed there's going to be a huge problem with pension funds once the next crisis comes around.

I know what you mean. I get excitement and success in addition to the ES I'm now trading the NQ, RTY, YM, CL & GC.

I have made some good trades the last couple days with SMART, and OMG. I think this week alone I have made aboue $400 as a hobby, it would have been more but NEO took a dive on me this week, but it's inching it's way back up there. If I had more time to devote to it then I could earn more money. But the volume has been kinda flat lately without alot of the Chinese buyers, so hopefully the Chinese ICO ban will be lifted soon.

Bitcoin is the start of investing in crypto currencies. The way you can make your money is buying/selling alot of the smaller currencies. You have to research the coins first before you buy/sell them and believe it or not but a large majority of these have actual real world usage. So it's almost just like the stock market except that this thing goes 24/7, there is no stopping the market at all. So it's good to have stops in place. 

 

The currencies I am in right now are DASH,ETH, NEO, and OMG. I day trade with some other ones that are not worth a mention here.

I changed my holdings.Some that were on there aren't anymore and some that weren't are. Can give you the new one if you want...I just got me some chainlink the other day. some interesting ICOs to watch: Filecoin, tezos, icon project, unikrn, and as I already told you kyber.

Personally I don't own bitcoin. I do own close to 100 other coins though(I like diversifying). Market cap of 120 billion is a joke, it all depends on how much they can deliver of course(most people are not only oblivious to the fact that these other tokens exist, but especially the fact unlike bitcoin they serve a much bigger purpose than a coin to make purchases with and I truly believe some of these projects are the future of the internet). but I think long term it's going in the trillions. Think about it as if you got a second chance to invest in google, yahoo, amazon, etc in the 90's. Yeah you had the dotcom bubble and consequent crash inbetween and I have no doubt cryptos will experience that too...hell they seem to be experiencing half of that almost every weekend. But long run diamond in the rough before the masses discover it. Being one of the early adopters is fun.

OMG is good, I own it too, but it's got a high market cap, with some growth left to go but not as much as finding some smaller ones, so I like to have a mix. I got into WTC the other day, look into them, I think they can be the next NEO...and they still have a small market cap, where you could get 100X. Same with ETP - They can be the next ETH, but still small, and a huge thank you to the chinese for keeping them small for me so I could snatch em. I treat them all as long term investments though so I really don't care how much I make or lose on a week to week basis.

One of the things I like most about it is the fact it's 24/7. With the stock market, every weekend you go through withdrawals. Here it's nonstop action. TRIG is on bittrex. Chainlink on Etherdelta. ETP on Bitfinex, and WTC on Binance. You can always see all coins(even not on an exchange to buy) on coinmarketcap.com.

Yeah I have day traded TRIG before on bittrex. I will definitely look at the other ones for sure. Thanks
