I think the second half of this year will be anything but boring. Can only stay in a narrow range for so long.

We have Vegas planned end of May and Milwaukee to visit wifey's family end of Aug.

I think you're right.

We're not coming back to the US until end of the year, we're in Java for three weeks and Gili islands for 2 1/2. Neither of us have ever been there, looks like it should be fun and i'll still have 18 days to burn during christmas/new year

Have fun!

The pros and cons of being self employed...can go where I want when I want...but nobody's going to pay me for it lol...no paid vacation time and if I call in sick nobody's going to pick up the phone. Any day I'm off is a day of lost $$ but well just gotta have some fun sometimes.

Central Bankers have gone insane. They now represent the biggest threat to all economies. The whole world is in a mess and these bongo-heads just keep doing stupid stuff that will always blow a bubble somewhere, and, as we know, these bubbles eventually pop. This delusion that is this grand central bank experiment in which we are all guinea pigs...this insane notion that dumping money into the system and negative interest rates will not only encourage speculation and for people to invest in risky assets(in which it very partially does) but also by virtue of that create sustainable growth, this stupid assumption, and assertion, is such a stunningly and mind blowingly horribly dumb idea I don't see how anyone over the age of 4 can actually think it is going to work long term. It never has. It never will. It doesn't. It won't.

PS - $NYSE closed below the weekly 50MA and is below 2013 highs. So riddle me this: Why is this called a bull market if the broader market is below the highs from 2.5 years ago?
