This friend was a fiancée when you posted in August this year and you said you were planning to marry whilst visiting on your B-2. You are going to need a LOT of evidence that you are coming back home after your visit if you are visiting your fiancée and planning a wedding. A love interest is one of the biggest reasons for overstays.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

I was referring to your previous thread:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/559775-marriage-on-b2-visa/

Also you mentioned then that you are a student, now you say you have been working for 10 years. Post what you want on the Internet. Make sure you are honest with the consular staff though.

I did I make ANY mention in THIS post that my friend is my fiancée????? Don't come here and make that assumption. If you cant answer my question properly don't bother responding.

So is this a different friend?

Why the caps? It seems this question has angered you somewhat.

You initially asked what proof you need to show of ties to your country. You mentioned a job but didn't mention your university studies. Strange, because that would have worked in your favour as it is another strong tie to your homeland. You also didn't mention you have a fiancée in the USA and that you plan to marry. That would have given a completely different set of answers. It's none of our business whatsoever, but it makes a HUGE difference to an immigration officer who is deciding whether to grant a visa or not. If you want people here to give you the best advice, you need to provide the full facts. Had you said from the beginning of this thread that you have a fiancée there, people would have told you that you need to front load your application a lot more than if you were just going on a holiday. You will need to approach the interview differently.

Now if this is a different friend and you are not going to see your fiancée on this visit at all, fair enough. Although I don't know why you didn't mention your studies as a tie to your home country in the first place. That's something else you can take to your interview - your university enrolment records showing the tuition fees you have paid and so on.

But it's not us you have to convince that you're telling the truth. It's the consular staff. Good luck.

And why I even bother responding to someone who told me to p... off is a mystery.
