Hi! Our visa application was sent by the NVC to the Manila embassy on Nov. 16, and NVC told me it was logged in there on Nov.26. Now what happens and how?? Thanks?

1. Call the NVC and get your MNL case number.

2. Once you have your MNL case number, pay the visa application fee and schedule the interview.

3. When scheduling the interview, print out the confirmation page and use it to be admitted into St. Luke's for the medical.

Hello Tahoma. We have not been recognized or emailed yet from the Manila Embassy. WE can pay and schedule her interview before they email us ????

Yes, you can schedule an interview before the Embassy sends their eligibility/instructions letter to your fiancée. It's not a good idea to wait for the Embassy notification because they are very slow to notify, and they often don't notify at all.

If you want to save a lot of time, go ahead and get your MNL case number and proceed with scheduling the interview and completing the medical.

You have burning a lot of daylight waiting when you could have been busy-busy-busy.

Once you have your MNL # you pay your visa fee at BPI, schedule your interview, complete your medical...

Use the embassy instructions letter as your checklist. http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/1178798/feb2015/K1-K2%20Applicant%20Interview%20Preparation%20Instructions%20-%20English%20_February%202015_.pdf

The Embassy likes to wait until they receive your case before they get around to notifying you. However, you can feel safe in using the shortcut because your case will be at the Embassy by the time the interview rolls around.
