Filling out forms for Citizenship

Hello Dear Members,

I am in the process of filling out N-400 (Citizenship Form) for my son. I have a question on PART 4. Information About Your Residence, My son went to Philippines for 5 months, should I include it as his Residence or not? He was on vacation basically, and he returned here in US after 5 moths of stay there in Philippines.

I appreciate if someone has the same experience, kindly share. Thanks so much!

why? if he is 18 or older he must file the N400 for himself

if he is under 18, then the N400 is not the form

Hi, Yes he is 21. He was actually the one filling out the forms, i am helping him a lil bit. He got confused so he asked me and i don't have an answer.

no, it is not his residence

there is a part on the form where he has to list his trips outside the US and for how long, he will list that trip of 5 months there

his residence is where he lives here, and he has to list wherever he has lived during his 5 years of being a LPR
