They didn't use the bombs because the guns were quicker and easier to use at the time, which is what has been said here all along. Guns are the easiest and quickest weapon to use when wanting to kill someone. But you gun lovers are all about pointing the finger elsewhere. These people had bombs made and ready to go, but they didn't have the time required to plant them and detonate them. If this doesn't prove the point about guns being the weapon of choice, I don't know what does.

Considering that the terrorist didn't have a huge sign on his chest saying, shoot me I'm about to plant a bomb and kill a bunch of people, I'm not sure what guns could have accomplished.

Tell me something. If everything is more dangerous than a gun, why is it the most often used weapon of choice? Why isn't there more baseball bat massacres? Or more people getting stabbed to death with knives?

Except in most cases it's guns that do the killing. I wonder how many more terrorist attacks by bombing would be carried out if the bombs were as easy to use as guns?

I don't know anyone who is saying that people only get killed by guns, but you gun lovers would rather just pretend that the guns don't exist when it comes to people getting killed. It's always something else!

I did not find anything particularity bad about the speech. I, too, would like to see congress take some sort of action or STFU. If you are in the position of being able (or responsible for) making change and do nothing but tear down others actually working on change then you are worthless.

Obama did a press conference a few weeks ago in Turkey that I thought was the best he has done and tells exactly what his mindset is on the "war on ISIS" - After listening to that compete press conference (and his Q&A with Turkish students) it convinced me he had a handle on what was going on and why he is doing what he is doing.
