I filed my I-751 with the Vermont Service Center on February 10th and still haven't received my NOA... They managed to cash the cheque quickly enough though! Does anyone know, typically, how long it's taking at the moment (for the NOA, processing in general etc.)? When should I expect to be called in for biometrics? All advice gratefully received! I really wish someone from the California center would head east and teach them how to efficiently process things!!!

(interestingly, my hubby filed the change-of-address form with the USCIS the same day and received the NOA for that within a week...)

We filed late August, got the NOA after 3 months and we're still waiting for the 10-year green card. Just sit back relax and enjoy the fact that you're in the country with your partner! Nothing to worry about. Carry on with life. Travel if you want. If you are going to travel, just go get your I-551 if you feel like it or bring your NOA with you. (My husband's NOA hadn't arrived in time for him to travel. We went to Boston, got a stamp and off he went).

I really think with Vermont, it's the luck of the draw as to how long your processing will take...lol

Speaking for myself, I filed my I-751 at the beginning of December 2006 and didn't hear a thing for 2 whole months (I called the hotline after 30 days tho and she "flagged" it) and then I received my NOA and my biometrics appointment letter the very same day!

My timeline from late last year is below. It took 2 months for an NOA. It just so happens that VSC are slower than other SCs when it comes to I-751s. But think of how fast they were with the initial visas! We're pretty lucky to be this end of the journey, and you're with your OH, so when it comes, it comes. No need to stress! :D

Update -- got my NOA several days ago (it was dated Feb 22nd) and received my biometrics letter yesterday -- scheduled for March 23rd... which is pretty lucky since I'm going to be out of town for a week, getting back at around midnight on the 22nd!

Anyway, thanks for all your posts -- good luck everyone!! :)

Not so sure about how fast the VSC were with my previous applications (3 months for my K1, and then over a year for my

greencard!) <_<
