Applying for citizenship

Hello

please i need some information about applying for citizenship. I am due to apply for my citizenship next month but currently, i dont live in the same house with my wife though we are still legally married. she stays in different city here in the states from me. So, my question is , can this affect or stop me from applying for my citizenship even though we are still legally married for 3 years and we only stayed stayed together for just 2 years? And Also, do i need to submit evidence or proof of our relationship like bills etc when applying for my citizenship? Also while filling the forms do i need to state that we live in different address or can i just use only my address or her address.

If you are not living in the same residence in a true marital union then you do not qualify to file for citizenship under the three year rule, and would have to wait to file under the five year rule instead.

Are you separated with the potential for divorce, or just not living together due to job/ school?

If the first, you need to wait 5 years to file, not just 3. If the second, it will be harder to get approved but you can file. Make sure to bring lots of proof of a maritual union such as frequent visits and financial co-mingling.

The OP is not qualified to file under either of those circumstances: separated with the intent to divorce or not living together due to school or another issue.

When filing under the three year rule the alien is required to be living with the US citizen spouse. There are no exceptions (http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/article/attachments.pdf - page 3).

You do not qualify for US citizenship.

US citizenship under the 3 years rule requires that you live with your USC spouse for the 3 years immediately before you file. You do not live with your wife. You do not qualify for US citizenship.
