Hello again fellow Dominican filers!

I have a question on the I-134 for the USEM in Santo Domingo.

Question 11 on the I-134 states the following:

I __ Intend __ Do Not Intend to make specific contributions to the support of the person(s) named in item 3.

The sample form here on VJ says to not check either, and write "N/A (K1 visa process for permanent residence)" in the space below, as this form is used for many visa types, and this question doesn't apply to K visas. It seems that has been fine for many. A few people have said that some embassies like to see that the "Intend" box is checked.

Can anyone tell me what has worked for the embassy in the Dominican Republic? We are getting so close now, I'd hate to screw it up with something so small!!

Thanks!

Pat

I'm the Petitioner, she's the loud Dominican

we went on nov 30 and got approved, they didn't ask for anything affadavit or income or anything at all. Just her documents and some quick questions every been married, have kids?, have u ever traveled outside of the country, to her and to me they asked where I live my phone number and have I ever been married.. after that approved :) they didn't ask me for any documents about myself even tho I had them in my briefcase just incase.

for the affadavit I put intend to contribute and put exactly my plan for apartment and pay for food, board, expenses for her as my wife and blah blah blah but they didn't ask for it at all.
