I-751 - time spent out of country?

Hello all,

I'm preparing to submit our I-751. During the past 2 years, I spent 6 months out of the USA working and my spouse spent 7 months taking care of her ill father.

Thse were at 2 differnt calendar years during the last 2 years. We have documents showing her father's illness and written letters from parents and siblings verifying the situation.

I have a contract I signed for the 6months I was out of the country working.

Do we explain all of this in the list of evidence? Will the examiner notice the time spent out of the country? We do not want to hide anything. We are happy to explain everything. Will this harm our case?

Anyone have any ideas?

Is it best to leave out our time out of the country and just send over the list of items requestd.

If it comes down to an interview, we have no anxiety since we are genuinely happy and together.

Thanks for your response!
