AP instruction says below

(1) You have a pending application to adjust status, Form I-485, and you seek to travel abroad for “urgent humanitarian reasons” or in furtherance of a “significant public benefit,” which may include a personal or family emergency or bona fide business reasons.

Will I be allowed to re-admit into USA if I go on a trip to other than my home country? Obviously if I go to Europe other than Philippines which is my home country I have no good excuse to say the trip to Europe was "urgent humanitarian reasons".

Yes, as an adjustment applicant, you do not need, or ever provide a reason for traveling. You can go on a vacation anywhere and use AP to re-enter the US.

That only applies to the Emergency AP. With the regular AP you can travel wherever you want.

Thank you all for your reply. Call me i'm paranoid but.... I kept reading the instruction I-131, it clearly states that "Travel for vacation is not a valid purpose." ..... hmmmmm... I'm so nervous if I really should take the vacation or not. We're still preparing I-485 packet along with 131, etc...

It's up to you what you want to do but everyone else is using it for travel. If it calms your nerves an immigration officer specifically said they are expecting us to travel and we don't have to write purpose of travel or anything on the form.

Those instructions are for DACA applicants. They do not pertain to you. Non-DACA adjustment applicants never have to provide a reason for needing AP. As stated before, you can travel outside the US for any reason and re-enter with AP.

Since you do not have a GC to the US and therefore are not yet a LPR, I would be more worried about being approved for a tourist visa to Europe--the country of entry specifically--than re-entering the US using AP. You applied for AP based on AOS and are allowed to re-enter the US until your GC is approved. You need to keep in mind that several of the immigration forms have multi-purposes or functions and the instructions tend to bear that out
